The intent of these paintings is to offer a heightened awareness of the impact of changing climates. The paintings aim to encourage discussion and ultimately the will to act, by conveying the consequences of carbon emissions and civilization’s other environmental degradations.

From their initial manifestations in early civilization to their current places as home to over 55% of the world’s population, cities exhibit some of the best and the worst of our nature.
